Even as a child, I loved nature; just looking at all the beautiful things that surrounded me was a marvel. I soon discovered my love for art as I explored the world as a businesswoman and I was particularly attracted to glass.

Nothing is more beautiful to behold than the sight of different shades of glass blending together to form an astonishing piece of art. I went on to study glass on the island of Moreno, close to Vernice, under David Penso, the University’s director of glass. It was an experience that opened me up to endless possibilities in glass work.

Crafting a jewel out of glass is a slow but rewarding process. I carve each bead separately and watch the magic happen as I bring all the beads together to form a wonderful piece of art that suits its owner just right.
